TKAM: Week 3: Question B

What is the difference between Scout's and Dill's home lives?  Do you feel like you "belong" at home?  Do you feel like you belong in/at other places?  What is your role there? (chapter 14)

  1. Scout's home is more welcoming compared to Dill's. Dill doesn't even have a place to call home. He moves from place to place to family members that will take care of him. I feel like I belong at home because my family loves me and cares for me. I also feel like I belong at other places. For example my friends' house, they respect me and make me feel welcome.

  2. I think that scout has a much more loving home because of her brother and father. Because dill is a foster child he moves from home to home, he never has one family and that's all he wants. I feel like I belong at my home becauseeven though my mom is strict she still loves me, and even though my dad is dead i know he is stiil in heaven loving me always. i always want to be some where else but I don't need to
